Love Thy Nature
Exploring What We Need Right Now
We cannot live without nature, and developing and embracing our connection with nature is one of the most beneficial things we can do for our health and wellness. Join 1440 Multiversity faculty member, film producer, and certified nature therapy guide Sylvie Rokab for a calming forest bathing workshop as you learn about the importance of nature and how to build daily rituals to get through this time of crisis.
When we slow down to nurture our connection with nature, magic happens. Stress melts away. We cultivate a sense of presence and renew our relationship with other beings. In this two-hour webinar, Sylvie will help you explore the deep interdependence between us and the natural world that promotes healing, awakens creativity, inspires wonder, and kindles realizations.
For a more in-depth look into forest bathing, join Sylvie at 1440 Multiversity on September 4-6, 2020, as she guides you through practices on our 75-acre campus in the redwoods.
Love Thy Nature Schedule:
May 3: 9:00 – 11:00 AM PST
Sylvie was born in Rio and raised by parents who encouraged her fascination with nature. Heartbroken by its rapid destruction, she made it her mission to inspire a deeper connection with nature.
Today, Sylvie is an Emmy-nominated, award-winning filmmaker with 20+ years working on films for the silver screen as well as TV networks such as HBO, PBS, and Discovery. Her latest film Love Thy Nature earned 27 awards and had over 300 screenings worldwide. As a certified nature therapy guide, Sylvie helps others transform their relationship with our spellbinding natural world.
