We are living in uncertain times, and our anxiety can spin out of control. Join 1440 Multiversity faculty member, author, yoga teacher, mental health advocate, and former actress Lisa Jakub as she offers scientifically proven tools to help manage our stress – while increasing our capacity for joy and our ability to be resilient in the face of challenges.
Lisa will discuss concepts such as neuroplasticity and ancient yogic philosophies on reducing suffering, and you will use writing as a tool for processing difficult emotions and engage in mindfulness practices to connect to the present moment. This program is open to all skill levels – beginners to yoga, writing, and meditation are warmly welcomed.
