Life Story Club
What are you thankful for? What is something you appreciate about yourself? The Life Story Club meets to share stories, have meaningful conversation and make true friendships.
Every week, The Life Story Club invites you to gather as a group on Zoom to share life experiences around fun and engaging prompt questions. This week’s theme is gratitude. These sessions are designed for older adults, but younger caregivers and family/friends are welcome to attend with an older loved one to partake in the experience.
All sessions will be held on Zoom and they are limited to 10 participants; early registration is recommended. This is a 6-week series that meets once per week beginning November 9 and extending through December 14. Participants are not required to join every session; drop-ins are encouraged.
The Life Story Club is a nonprofit dedicated to promoting healthy aging and reducing social isolation of older adults, doing so through club meetings that guide groups of participants through sharing and preserving their life stories. The Life Story Club has worked with various community-based organizations, including public libraries, the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, as well as hundreds of individuals to preserve the life stories of their loved ones.
